About Us — Times Oil Corporation

Our Story

Built on Family.
Fueled by Purpose.

Since 1959, Times Oil Corporation has been more than a company — we’ve been a trusted neighbor, a reliable stop, and a steady presence in the communities we’ve always called home. Now in our third generation of family leadership, that commitment runs deeper than ever.

Times Oil Corporation

A Legacy Written One
Mile at a Time

What began as a family-run heating oil delivery service has grown into one of the region’s most recognized names in fuel and convenience. Times Oil Corporation was founded in 1959 on a simple but enduring belief: that honest work, quality service, and genuine care for the customer are the foundations of any great business.

Now proudly in our third generation of family ownership, we operate 18 fueling stations and convenience stores across Iredell, Lincoln, Gaston, and Mecklenburg Counties in North Carolina and York County in South Carolina — offering trusted fuel brands including BP, Amoco, and Shell. Every location carries forward the same warmth, the same commitment, and the same standard our founder set back in 1959.

Decades of Growth,
One Community at a Time

Our story didn’t start with a boardroom strategy. It started with a founder, a truck, and a promise to keep families warm. In 1959, Times Oil began delivering heating oil door to door — building trust one household at a time across the region.

When heating oil delivery began to fade in the 1970s, we faced a crossroads. Rather than close up shop, we reinvented ourselves — pivoting into convenience stores and fueling stations, and bringing those same family values with us every step of the way. Today, the founder’s grandchildren carry that legacy forward, growing the business while honoring everything it was built on.
